Garden Rake lifestyle 1

Carbon steel, built for seasons

The carbon steel head is the kind of honest construction that outlasts trends: stiff tines that bite into soil, shrug off stones, and come back for more. This is a rake you buy once and argue with never.

Garden Rake lifestyle 2

One rake, a dozen jobs

Leveling a seedbed, spreading mulch, clearing leaves and thatch, dragging gravel smooth: the same tool handles all of it. It leans by the shed door and gets picked up more often than almost anything else out there.

Garden Rake lifestyle 3

Autumn afternoons, well spent

There is a reason raking shows up in every picture of autumn: steady work, cool air, and a garden that looks visibly better with every pass. Add a wheelbarrow and a pot of tea afterwards, and it barely counts as a chore.

Some of our most asked questions:

What jobs is this rake best for?

It is a true all-rounder: leveling soil, preparing seedbeds, spreading mulch or gravel, and clearing leaves and garden debris. The rigid carbon steel tines handle heavier material that would fold a light leaf rake.

Will the head rust?

Carbon steel is strong but likes to be kept dry. Knock the soil off after use, store it under cover, and give the head an occasional light wipe of oil, and it will stay in fine working shape for years.

Is it comfortable to use for long sessions?

Yes, the full-length handle lets you work upright with long, even strokes. Let the tines and the tool's own weight do the gathering, and pace yourself in sections; raking is better as a rhythm than a race.

How is it different from a leaf rake?

A leaf rake has soft, springy tines for light sweeping; this garden rake has short, rigid steel tines for moving soil, gravel, and heavier debris. Most sheds are happiest with one of each.
