Powered by daylight, ready by dark
All day, the solar panel quietly banks sunlight. All night, the motion sensor stands watch, throwing a wide wash of bright light the moment anything moves. It charges itself, triggers itself, and switches itself off, a security light that runs entirely on routine.
Bright light, zero running cost
Because the sun does the powering, there are no cables to trench and nothing added to the electricity bill. That freedom means you can light the places wiring never reached: the back fence, the shed door, the far corner of the drive.
Calm starts at your doorstep
A dark yard invites second-guessing; a lit one settles the mind. When headlights swing into the drive or footsteps reach the porch, the flood light answers instantly, and everyone inside sleeps a little easier for it.
Where Design Meets Detail
At Same Side, we believe the little details make the biggest difference. Every product is thoughtfully selected to combine modern design, everyday functionality, and lasting quality—helping you create a home you'll love coming back to.
Some of our most asked questions:
Does it need any wiring or outlet?
Does it need any wiring or outlet?
No wiring at all. The solar panel charges an internal battery during the day, and the light runs off that stored power at night. Installation is simply mounting it where you want light and letting the sun take over.
Will it work on cloudy days?
Will it work on cloudy days?
Yes, though like all solar devices it charges fastest in direct sun. A run of overcast days may shorten how long it can shine each night, so mount the panel where it catches as much open sky as possible.
How does the motion detection behave?
How does the motion detection behave?
After dark, the sensor waits for movement in its coverage area and switches the flood light on the moment it detects any. Once things go quiet, the light shuts off again to conserve the battery for the rest of the night.
Where is the best place to mount it?
Where is the best place to mount it?
Choose a spot with good sun exposure for the panel and a clear view of the area you want lit, such as above a garage, along a path, or facing a gate. Higher mounting generally gives the sensor and beam a wider reach.
